WHY ARE WE DOING A CAPITAL CAMPAIGN?
Our ultimate goal is to enhance the overall appearance and overall utilization of our Church to facilitate greater ministry to our Church family and the Community.
In these challenging economic times, the needs of people in our community are greater than ever. This is an hour like no other. It’s a moment when the church has the opportunity to do what it was created to do…meet the needs of people. There is NO lack with God!
In 1 Corinthians 16:9 Paul declared, “A great door of opportunity has opened to do a great work.” Those words describe what is happening at Resurrected Life today. Because of the economic situation in our nation, the breakdown of the family, the rising tide of violence and the realization by people that the “American Dream” doesn’t have the power to truly satisfy the longing of our hearts, people and institutions are looking to the Church for help and answers. The needs in our community are greater than ever. This campaign is about putting Resurrected Life in a position to fulfill God’s dream of seeing people experience His love, power, presence and grace in their lives. But to make that dream a reality, we need YOU!
It takes more than just buildings to make a church; it takes people who have fellowship with one another and more importantly, with God. Through this fellowship we are happy to be launching out in faith with the Capital campaign, believing that our church is going to achieve a new experience in stewardship and spiritual growth. The theme of this campaign, “Honoring Our Past and Creating Our Future”, is a great challenge to all of us. As we all give sacrificially, not only will our financial needs be met, but our spiritual growth will be blessed by seeking and doing God’s will. The commitments we make during this campaign will be very important to the future of our church. Together with our Pastors and under God’s leadership and direction, we should achieve an exciting victory for our Lord.
